Generate Signed APK

You will need to export your application as an APK (Android Package) file before you upload it Google Play marketplace.

To export an application, just open that application project in Android studio and select Build  Generate Signed APK from your Android studio and follow the simple steps to export your application −

Next select, Generate Signed APK option as shown in the above screen shot and then click it so that you get following screen where you will choose Create new keystore to store your application.

Enter your key store path,key store password,key alias and key password to protect your application and click on Next button once again. It will display following screen to let you create an application −

Once you filled up all the information,like app destination,build type and flavours click finish button While creating an application it will show as below

F inally, it will generate your Android Application as APK formate File which will be uploaded at Google Play marketplace.

2) Google Play Registration - https://play.google.com/apps/publish/signup/

The most important step is to register with Google Play using Google Play Marketplace. You can use your existing google ID if you have any otherwise you can create a new Google ID and then register with the marketplace. You will have following screen to accept terms and condition.

3) Upload an app on Google Playstore

Add an APK

1. Go to your Google Play Developer Console.
2. Select All applications  > Add new application.
3. Using the drop down menu, select a default language and add a title for your app. Type the name of your app as you want it to appear in Google Play.
4. Select Upload APK.
5. Choose from the Production, Beta, or Alpha channels and select Upload your APK. For more information on alpha/beta testing, go to use alpha/beta testing & staged rollouts.

Set up your Store Listing

Graphic Assets

Application Screenshots Requirements

To publish your Store Listing, you must provide a minimum of 2 screenshots.

• JPEG or 24-bit PNG (no alpha)
• Minimum dimension: 320px
• Maximum dimension: 3840px
• The maximum dimension of your screenshot can't be more than twice as long as the minimum dimension.

High-Res Icon

Requirements

• 32-bit PNG (with alpha)
• Dimensions: 512px by 512px
• Maximum file size: 1024KB

Feature Graphics

Your feature graphic is a powerful tool to show off your creative assets and attract users. A Feature Graphic is required in order to be featured anywhere within Google Play.

Requirements

• JPEG or 24-bit PNG (no alpha)
• Dimensions: 1024px by 500px
